Next Level Countertop Water Filter

Drinking Water Systems For Your Home

Your home and your family deserve cleaner, safer, healthier drinking water. Your home and your family deserve a water filter machine backed by cutting edge science and technology, not by flashy packaging and saturated marketing. Because we want you to have the best in water treatment, we created a advanced drinking water system that not only can be used as either a below sink or a countertop water filter, we made sure that the Aqualuxe gives you the best contaminant reduction on the market.

For many people, clean, healthy drinking water is just another drink selection, bottled and sold at the local supermarket or vending machine. It comes in a sealed plastic bottle, so it must be better than tap water, right? Or at home, pouring tap water through a special pitcher with a little filter inside should be good enough to treat the water. Perhaps attaching a little filter dongle to the faucet will do the trick.

The thing is, truly cleaner, healthier water takes a bit more than just that. It takes more than buying a case of plastic-enclosed bottled tap water. It takes more than simple, inexpensive pitchers or filters that don’t do much beyond making the water taste a little cleaner.

YOUR WATER IS ONLY AS GOOD AS THE DRINKING WATER SYSTEM THAT TREATS IT, AND THE FACT IS, MULTIPURE’S AQUALUXE COUNTERTOP WATER FILTER SYSTEM IS THE BEST. DRINK THE WATER YOUR BODY DESERVES.

Third-party Tested and Certified

None of our claims about the Aqualuxe would mean much without third-party, independent testing and certification to back up our claims. Fortunately, we’ve got that covered, as well.

The performance of a filter is a key determinant of its quality. To validate this, independent third-party testing and verification are necessary. In other words, it's not enough for a company to just state their product's superior performance; third-party certification offers an extra layer of credibility to these claims.

One of the most respected authorities in this area is NSF International, particularly for products that protect food, water, and the environment. NSF's certification gives you confidence that you can protect your water supply and your family from harmful contaminants.

If you have a Drinking Water System from Multipure that's NSF-certified, it means your filter has met the high standards set by NSF's rigorous, impartial testing procedures. This ensures that Multipure's products are capable of delivering the reliable performance they promise.

The benefits of using an NSF-certified water filter from Multipure extend to everyone in your home. They can all enjoy water that's cleaner, healthier, and has a better taste. It's not just about the improved quality of water; it's also about the peace of mind you get knowing that all who consume your water, including pets, are safeguarded. This is a testament to the independently validated and tested performance of Multipure's products.

PUREBLOCK FILTER TECHNOLOGY

Multipure's Aqualuxe water filter uses advanced carbon block filter technology, boasting a unique feature called PureBlock. PureBlock is designed specifically to remove harmful bacteria and viruses from your water. It's a powerful technology, positioning the Aqualuxe as a top-notch water filter and purifier that you can use right at the point of use.

Apart from PureBlock, there are other mechanisms at play in Multipure’s superior filter design. This includes mechanical filtration, where it traps particulate matter, along with electrokinetic and physiochemical adsorption. These processes work together to take in harmful contaminants and fight off unwanted elements like pharmaceuticals, bacteria, and viruses.

Multipure has been a trusted name in the water treatment industry since 1970. They have been pioneers of carbon block technology, consistently innovating to provide top quality and performance. With the combination of Multipure and PureBlock, the Aqualuxe carbon block water purifier stands as a remarkable advancement in water treatment.

System Options

Base System

The base Aqualuxe can be used inline with other existing hardware (e.g., existing faucet, ice maker, etc.), but includes no additional plumbing hardware. It can utilize compatible below-sink and countertop parts and accessories.

Below-Sink Water Filter Kit

This below-sink installation kit includes a stand-alone chrome faucet and the necessary hardware to attach the system to your existing below-sink setup. The system connects to the cold water line with an included Adapta Valve, and the faucet requires a 0.5” hole available in the countertop or sink for installation.

A below-sink Aqualuxe rests on the floor of the cabinet, but can be converted for countertop use with the optional countertop water filter kit.

Countertop Water Filter Kit

The standard countertop water filter installation kit includes a dual-hose diverter valve that connects the system to the sink faucet as it sits on top of the counter next to the sink. Filtered or unfiltered water can be selected by a push-button on the diverter valve.

Due to the many varieties, styles and sizes of kitchen and bathroom faucets, Multipure cannot guarantee that the countertop kit and adapters will be compatible with your faucet. Please contact Multipure’s Customer Care department for assistance.

HOW TO VIDEOS

AQUALUXE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can my Multipure system be installed on the countertop?

You can install a countertop water filter in a few simple steps:

Yes, our countertop water filter system can hook up to many types of kitchen faucets. Our Aqualuxe water filter system will not connect to faucets that have a sprayer. See our installation video for instructions on hooking up our countertop systems.

What's the Best Countertop Water Filter System?

Many countertop water filter systems require you to fill a dispenser or pitcher that takes up space on your counter. The Aqualuxe connects directly to your faucet, meaning you get filtered water without a dispenser. You can turn on the tap and fill a glass from the Aqualuxe.

Besides saving space and adding convenience, Aqualuxe offers excellent contaminant reduction capabilities. The system is third-party tested by NSF International and meets rigorous standards for aesthetic effects, emerging compounds, health effects, and microbiological purification.

How Do I Change My Filter?

Changing your filter is a simple process and can just take a few minutes. The process for changing a countertop water filter varies based on your system type. The Aqualuxe offers 30-second filter changes with a specially designed quick-change filter. You remove the old filter and insert the new one in its place. Once you secure the filter, you can flush the system to check for leaks and prepare it for use.

Do Multipure filters remove Arsenic from the water?

Yes, the Aqualuxe and Aquaperform are NSF-certified for the reduction of Arsenic. Arsenic is a carcinogen that can be found in water.

Do Multipure Filters Remove Lead?

Yes, the Aqualuxe, Aquaversa, and Aquaperform systems are NSF-certified for the reduction of Lead. Lead is a metallic element that can make its way into groundwater through industrial waste, or when lead pipes or brass fittings in your plumbing system deteriorate.

    Customer Service

The unit is great and so is the customer service. I had a issue with the seal when needing to replace the filter and the company fixed it at no cost and sent me a replacement while my unit was being fixed. Couldn’t ask for better customer service.

    Long-Term Review of Aqualuxe

Posted by Charles Nordlander on Jul 13th 2022

I've owned an Aqualuxe for almost 6 years. Here's an honest summary of my experience with it: What I Like: • Attractive, sleek design • Quick-release hose connector hos never leaked and makes it easy to remove my Aqualuxe from under-sink for filter changes Truly simple filter changes: twist off the top of tank, remove filter, rinse, insert new filter, twist top of tank into locked position again. • Great leak detector which is crucial for under-sink installations. I've had a few slow pipe joint leaks (not related to the Aqualuxe) that I discovered quickly because my Aqualuxe detected the moisture under it immediately and started beeping. • Knowing that I'm getting the best possible filtration. What I Don't Like: • Filters are extraordinarily expensive • Wifi connectivity is a joke--yes, it connects but has never done anything useful with that capability. I'm happy to see that Multipure has finally downplayed promoting it as a "connected" device. • Filter monitor is a joke. There's a light that's supposed to turn from green to red when your filter is at the end of its lifespan--the light on my Aqualuxe is always green, even when there's no doubt I need a filter change. I monitor the timing of my filter changes by length of time and the flow speed coming out of the tap. It's rated at .75 gpm, which was a big selling point for me, but I've found that new filters slow from that rate pretty quickly. Honestly, I'm not sure if I'd buy an Aqualuxe again, knowing what I know now--but when it comes time to change the filter, the ease and speed of that is when the investment seems most worthwhile. Multipure Response: Charles, thank you for this thorough review of the Aqualuxe system. We agree it is an attractive, easy-to-use drinking water purification system that, most importantly, delivers the best possible filtration. We have found that the replacement filter cartridges are competitively priced when compared with other, similarly performing filter systems on the market. As far as the monitoring function, based on your comments, there may be a hardware or software malfunction that can be fixed. The flow rate of the filter cartridge is largely dictated by the incoming water pressure and levels of impurities in the water, namely sediment or turbidity. With lower water pressure or high levels of sediment, the filter flow rate can be reduced fairly early. We would be happy to assist if you reach out to our Customer Care team (custsvc@multipure.com). We are constantly working to improve our products. The Aqualuxe has been our most ambitious drinking water treatment system design in the 50+ year history of the company and we take customer feedback (such as yours) into account as we make changes and improvements to our products. Thank you again for your review.
